I notice that the extra booking that I have on the apps is on FP Sukumvit Bangkok. I have 2 back to back reservation with this hotel on early Jan (4-5 JAN and 5-6 JAN). Both are booked using rewards points.
Surprisingly I have 2 booking on 5-6 JAN, one have 9 digits confirmation numbers which I can find it on my email. The other has only 8 digit numbers which I cannot even find in my email. I also cannot find that in the web.
What is really going on. Lukers?

Please drop us an email on the confirmation numbers that you see and we will be able to look into this for your further.

So I have obtain 50+ nights in my combined account, got a link in my account that say I am eligible for my 50 nights annual gift.click on the link ... "You're not yet eligible to choose an Annual Choice Benefit. Once you stay at least 50 eligible nights in a qualifying period" .... and we had the CEO Arne Sorenson claiming that the system is now stable.... and yes it has been 48h+ since my nights posted in the activity ....
I have a name suggestion for the combined program "The Unpredictable Loyalty Program" ...ULP let a random number generator decide if you get your annual gift etc ...

My stays at JW Marriott Shenzhen, JW Marriott Shanghai Tomorrow Square, and Marriott Nagoya all posted correctly, so maybe the Marriott side is working properly with heritage Marriott account number.
I cannot get my SPG award reservations fixed by SPG CS, refund of award points difference, because the computer system would not allow the fix. Hopefully I won't need anymore Marriott/SPG hotel reservations rest of the year.
I'm glad I have Hyatt to work with.

For me, two months ... and still no correction to an incorrect number of points being posted.
Four clearly-worded requests submitted with full back-up. But, out of four requests, only one reply. (The others were all ignored.) And the reply made it clear that the employee didn’t even bother to read my email.
I’m missing points. Customer service is utterly, utterly abysmal. I’m giving up. It’s only a few thousand points that I’m missing - not worth much, frankly - but the absolute lack of (1) communication and (2) service has me at the breaking point with Marriott.
And thats my experience as a Platinum Premier member. Holy $&!@

We checked in our system and the reservation which information you shared in the attachment, exists and it's confirmed. We would like to remind you though that 12,500 loyalty points will need to be in the account at least ten days prior to check in, so they can be issued for the reservation. If the points are not there on time, the reservation will be automatically cancelled by the system.

Completed a stay recently, and points posted the second morning after checkout, which is consistent with how Marriott points have always posted. I have another stay coming up in about a month.
Elite recognition on my stay was sparse relative to Hilton Gold, but it was a Residence Inn. I have a Le Meridien stay coming up, so I will compare at that point.
I signed up for my first SPG card recently, and points are posting to my Marriott account as normal.
Talking with some friends recently, the general SPG fan (someone who had an SPG card and favored SPG hotels, but wasn’t focused on it to the point they would do something like sign up for Flyertalk) is still confused as to why there is both SPG and Marriott branding, unsure about points redemption values, and are continuing to book mainly SPG brands as normal. For these customers (who I suspect are the majority of SPG “loyalists”), the big change will come next year

Happy to report that stays are posting quickly once again, 1-2 days after checkout. That applies to legacy Starwood and Marriott properties! I don't recall Marriott ever posting that fast in the past.

YMMV - my Sunday checkout hasn't posted yet...and was legacy Starwood, I can't remember the last time it didn't post next day.

I got a reply and they told me that this is a valid and confirmed reservation that I never did and more surprise they told me this
If this is a valid award reservation, shouldn't they have deducted the point when I did a booking (if I ever did). Why they need to deduct anoter 12,500 points? Do they really know what they are talking?

I was told currently FP brand is doing migration and he told me that the other FP booking wil become duplicated also......
How on earth there s no communication at all from Marriott on this on going activities and the implication (duplicate booking) that we will see..... Isthis what they call, mission completed? I think for member get effected by issue, the need to compensate sus with 10,000 points/issue

Called to try and apply a SNA to a reservation. CSR could see the reservation, could see the junior suite availability, but it errored out when she tried to apply it. Talked to her supervisor and tech liaison and recommended I call back in 5-7 business days to try again.
Unusable SNAs are real useful.

There are also reports here on FT in other forums of points transfers (to/from Starriott) being impacted/delayed, apparently also attributed to the program merger.

I presume you you tried to apply the SNA yourself online? That really is the best way as you can select the room/suite where you want to be considered for an upgrade.

It doesn’t matter what the CSR “can see” when you apply your SNA. The junior suite may not even be in the SNA upgrade pool. The system, not the hotel or the CSR, will start searching for availability 5 days before approval. If the room/suite which is in the SNA pool is available, you will get it. If not, the system will keep searching every day and if not available, the SNA will be returned to you the day before arrival.
