Has anyone got a suite upgrade at RC as a PP?
That's supposed to be one of the "new" benefits for PP at RC, right?

We were at RC Bali a few days ago. All suites/villas and P and PP were both upgraded, including the P to a villa.

I’ve received a few upgrades. I check into RC Philly next week and I’ll report back.

I don't know if "new" is the correct word. Prior to 8/18, Ritz was supposed to upgrade plat to a suite if available at the hotel's discretion. Club upgrades were excluded but suites were not.

Since 8/18, there's now a distinction in suite upgrade benefit between PP and P so that Plats are explicitly excluded from getting suite upgrades.

Yes, PP upgraded to a suite in Kapalua last week.

I am planning to book a stay at RC Laguna Beach in either November or December just to test.

Upgraded multiple times at Kapalua over the past 6 years, last time to a 1 bed residence. I think we went in May every time, so not high season but still a nice time to go. Was probably Marriott PLT at the time.

We would love that. Since 1 son lives in Laguna Beach & 1 in Laguna Hills we are there weekly when we aren’t traveling.

RC might actually be in Dana Point, right?

Upgrade at Ritz Chicago
Regular platinum. Booked basic king club level room for 3 nights, got upgraded to Gold Coast suite for whole stay. Hotel is having labor negotiations and staff was minimal. Overall not a great stay with the staff relations strained

Stayed at the RC in Cleveland but didn’t get the upgrade. Wasnupgrade to club floor but no club access.
