A nice addition to SPG in LA area.

An addition - perhaps, nice - not so sure. I drive by this place on 101 almost daily. An old beaten up renaissance turning into sheraton... Better than nothing given the absence of SPG within 30+ mile drive...

. I've stayed at this property on numerous occasions as a Renaissance, and while it is certainly not the Four Seasons in Westlake Village, as a Renaissance it was better than 75% of the Sheratons I've stayed at. My first thought when I saw the title before clicking the thread was "maybe this is the Renaissance rebranded"...

I've got a reservation here for a family event in mid-September, and I would love to be able to earn *points! I suppose I need to call them to get that straightened out, right?

Great addition! I have put clients at this property and stayed there myself. The service is excellent. I heard the entire staff is staying on and just a Sheraton branding is taking place. There are many benefits to this hotel such as reasonable rates, full service, free parking, right of 101 FWY, nice gym equipment, etc.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times as the Renaissance and its actually quite nice. Its far enough from the freeway that you don't get the noise and the rooms are pretty good. The lounge is a bit small and can get busy weekdays at about 8 AM.
