Joining Marriott Rewards - Promo Code?
 

Hello, I'm new to this forum, but an avid traveler and deal seeker :)

I'm about to join Marriott Rewards and am wondering if anyone has a current promo code, like the older one mentioned in this thread:

I'm holding off till I find out if there's a current one or not, that will allow me to start off with miles/points or some kind of elite status.

Don't think there are any sign-ups at the moment, the latest I saw was last year where you could get a bonus 5k points referral for the member and the person signed up.

However, haven't seen anything recently. There was a new member promo (stay 2 nights, get 1 free) but haven't seen it advertised anywhere (many of us here were able to sign up to it anyway, despite already being members and Marriott honoured the promo) - but it just appeared on our account.

Thanks for the info! Was there a thread about the stay 2 get 1 free promo? I'm looking at the Marriott on the Big Island, HI.
