Best resort-style Ritz Carlton?

Apologies if this is slightly off topic - just wanted to get a feel to what one people have been most impressed with.

+1 for Bali. Was there for a wedding anniversary and we were treated extremely well. The only downside is that the beach is a ways from the hotel but that was a minor issue.

I have only stayed at a few RCs, but the one on the Caymans is extremely nice. Its on the best part of the best beach on the Cayman island. And the property is definitely a luxury resort.

Haven't stayed at many RCs, but here's another vote for Grand Cayman!

I enjoyed the RC Orlando - very nice pool with amazing service from the pool staff. Very good spa shared with the Marriott which is located adjacent to the RC property.

Also, RC Cancun was pretty hard to beat. Fantastic pool and beach, with service to match. Not sure I would want to travel to Mexico right now, based on what you read in the papers - but Cancun should probably be safe.

Prices at both were reasonable last year using Amex FHR rate, with the benefits to match.

We really enjoyed the Ocho Rios Ritz in Jamaica!

It was a fantastic facility w/great beach, service, etc. Great shopping right down the street. Loved the culture and the people.

I'd like to try the one in Cayman. Didn't much care for the FS Marriott there.

I know cross posting is against FT rules but you may get more answers to this question in the "Luxury Hotels" forum. I personally love the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, CA but some may not consider that a true resort property.
