Hi

Just to clarify, if I am staying at a hotel my girlfriend reserved for both of us but under her name.

She has no status with Mariott, if I show my Gold card will we get status perks? I'll staying there and can be the one to provide a credit card (or pay the end bill) if that makes a difference.

What about priceline stays? Not sure if any benefits apply to those stays (never done one in a Mariott)

As long as you give the people at the front desk your MR number, they will give you the status perks. You can even maintain using her credit card on the bill and you would still get the extra elite perks (that part I will leave to you to decide :)). This would also apply to priceline stays as well I believe as long as you give them your MR number.

Unless your name and number are part of the reservation prior to arrival (24 hours), you will not be protected in the guaranteed room type or get the same compensation if they need to walk you.
