Other Hotel Programs Honoring MR?
 

I know that some airlines used to give you equivalent status in their programs if you could document your status on a given airline. Does anyone know if, say, Hilton will give you Diamond VIP if you can show that you're a MR Platinum? Any other chains doing anything like this?

i believe there is such status match (just search for it) or they will give you a challenge to stays or nights over a period of time

I tried to do Hilton's. Even though I met thier requirements they somehow decided I didn't stay enough nights. (They can't count?) So I gave up and just stayed with Marriott. Thier loss! In my mind there's not a huge difference and if you want to be difficult....
