What other possibilitys or ideas do you maybe have from experience or knowledge to get as much points in a short time. Eating and drinking a lot in the bar ?? ;)

Welcome to FlyerTalk!

Get the Marriott Premier Visa card. You will get an immediate 20,000 bonus. You can then use the card to go buy 20 or 30 of your best friends new flat screens as holiday gifts. :D

You can purchase points for 12.50/1000 (up to 50,000)

There are other ways, too. You did check marriott.com, didn't you? ;)

Stay more nights.... change your 10 nights from cheap hotels into suites to get the more expensive room rates, or rent out 10 rooms per night!

On a serious note - there is the refer a friend bonus (up to 25k, 5k per friend you refer who stays 5 nights - they get points too), but you'd have to persuade your friends to stay at the Marriott. You can also trade airmiles for marriott points (sometimes, depends on the program).

Are you signed up for the megabonus at the moment as well?

Just search the forum, it will give you plenty more ideas.

hey, I can't change my rooms ... stupid but that's the way it is :(
my friends can't stay for the moment in hotels and about my airmiles ... I'm flying with Lufthansa and they don't do this :(
thx anyway for your advice and I'll keep on looking for some ideas :p

See if there are any bonuses applicable to your upcoming stays:

Are you registered for the bonuses?

Put all of your stays on the Marriott Visa.
