Can these be used to pay the hotel bill? Are there any Marriotts that do not accept them? Anyone use them before and found any problems with them?

I have used them as partial payment a couple of times, with absolutely no problem.

However, you should be sure to read the terms and conditions. They may have changed since I used them (a couple years ago).

I think I need to talk to the Platinum line on Monday. Was trying to decide if booking a room with points or rate was more beneficial. Also, I cannot tell if a particular hotel will accept them or not. There seems to be no way to check besides calling the facility.
