Marriott Concierge Announcement

Hello everyone in the Flyertalk community:

Many of you have asked for a more frequent official Marriott presence on this site, and to that end, I am happy to announce that the job of Marriott Concierge will be handled by a small group in our Salt Lake City office. We are still working out some of the details, but having a few people who can post as the Marriott Concierge will help us to respond more quickly to your questions. All of the Marriott Concierge contact information will remain the same, so as always, please feel free to send an email or a private message.

This is a bittersweet day for me, as I am moving on to a new role and will not be involved with this new direction. It has been a privilege to have been part of Flyertalk and to have interacted with you all. Thank you for your candid feedback and the always interesting threads (I especially enjoyed reading about the celebrity sightings).

Once again, thank you for allowing me the chance to have been a part of this amazing community. I know you will like the new Marriott Concierge group. They should begin posting on a regular basis next week.

My very best regards to you all.

Sorry to see you go, Chris. Thank you for all your hard work. I can only imagine how hard it is to review FT and respond to all the positive and negative posts while performing your other duties at Marriott.

^to Marriott for listening to everyone on this board and working hard to ensure they have representation available to answer our questions on a regular bais.

Maybe Marriott really does care?! :p

Take care Chris and good luck!

RIP...

Chris, thank you so much for all your help over the past few years. You will be missed a lot, and it is not surprising that they need a whole team to fill your shoes!

Take care, and all the best with your new position.
