Null Rates
 
I have a rate that on Marriott.com said () or null for the rate. It was using that rate code NPR.
What is going to happen when I get to checkin tomorrow??

They will NOT honor the reservation unless it's a direct bill which you will have to provide ID and a company introduction letter.

Oh ok . . . thanks for the info . . . what is direct bill??
Also, I have a disney cast member rate for my hotel. My brother is a cast member, does he have to be there at check in? The rate says valid for cast members and family.

A direct bill is when the hotel does not charge the guest but directly bills a third party (corp. clients or conventions) who has made credit arrangements with the hotel. You know when you redeem an award and you pay with points? The hotel directly bills Marriott for the stay.

If the rate rules states that it's valid for cast members and family, you shouldn't have a problem as long as the reservation is made in his name but have your name added as the second guest. You can then, check-in without your brother being present. although you will need to have a credit card in your name or leave a cash deposit upon check-in.

You might want to print out the rate rules that state the rate is valid for cast members family, just in case the person at the front desk questions you about it.
