Marriott web site problem - yesterday & today
 

I did not see this posted. I have experienced problem in trying to check for availability for hotels outside the US (eg: Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing...). This is what I get in response:
"The hotels in this location are unavailable on your dates. Try changing your travel dates.'
I used the pull-down to find cities (default cities given by MR). OK, about dates, I tried different months to no avail.
Did you have same experience and what did you do to get around it? Last resort is to call. But I usually try to establish a preliminary plan by exploring options on the web, which might be time consuming on the phone.
