Limerick Marriott
 

We spent two nights at the Marriott in Limerick, Ireland last week and it was great.

The rooms are fantastic - probably amongst the largest standard rooms in any hotel in Europe that I have stayed in.

Staff were excellent. The lounge was good. Breakfast was very good, evening snack was just ok. Lounge was open on the week end.

The hotel is in the middle of downtown and walking distance to restaurants and pubs.

We used it as base for travel in the west of Ireland. I recommend this hotel highly.

Okay, here goes:

The Marriot was nice, says OP
And the rooms fantastic to see
The staff were real nice
And the food would suffice
But no mention of plasma TV

I don't see the Limerick Marriott on marriott.com anymore. Does anyone know what happened or what took over? It was a pretty nice hotel.

Funny thing, there was an article a few months ago in which somebody from the management company was saying that they were very satisfied with the way the hotel was doing and that they were considering expanding the operations...
