These are not that clear to me, can someone tell me what I do and don't get here? main questions are:

Free Internet?
and finally, if I stay Sat to mid week, do I get 3X points on the Saturday stay portion of my bill?

thanks

here are the rules

You know, I'm not really sure either. Normally the rate will say something like "Free hi-speed internet", but I would guess that the "self parking" is free, so the others may also be free.

Is this rate part of some type of promotion or package? If so, there may be some supporting text from the hotel webpage for this rate that may shed some light on your questions.

Everything listed is *free* except the valet parking upon which they put a price. Looks like if you are staying a fri or sat you get triple points for that night. That's how I would read it. We need a Marriott reservationist for the confirmation.

BTW the free parking and free Internet does not apply to the rate code you are trying to use (at the airport location that I let go unnamed). They just haven't updated the rate rules that are shown on the net.

I would not interpret it that high speed internet is free; rather that it is simply offered at this location (as opposed to locations that offer no high speed internet access).

I agree that the self-parking appears to be free.

I believe your Saturday night would qualify you for the triple points (looks to me like any Fri or Sat night stay would qualify).

But that's just my take on it.

edited to add: now that I look at it again, in the context in which it also refers to local calls, then yes, the HSIA should be free. Let's hope you don't have to fight for it.

And make sure to ask for your complimentary executive suite upgrade.

triple points yes
free parking - my assumption because of wording is yes
HSI - unclear - I can see it being either way but my assumption again because of the parking wording is yes

this is kind of how I viewed it, its actually become a moot point since the internet is down at this property anyway.

another reason I interpret it free is that they don't charge for transportation to the "office", the way they word the parking, and that HSIA is right in the middle of these two so one would reasonably infer that its "free"

I will name it. It is the Ren LAX. I also know which code or one of them anyway that may be. I will leave the codes out of it, as the one I am thinking about is not on the public list.

Looks like no free parking or free Internet to me - it would say "free". I could be wrong on the parking, but I'm pretty certain on the Internet service.

That was my original thought as well, however the rate rules reference 'local calls'. We know that very often free local calls are a perk. Why would the rate rules allude to 'local calls' if they were not included in the promo? Charging for local calls would certainly not warrant being mentioned.

Based on that, it would appear, to me at least, that they are including the HSIA and the self-parking in this particular rate (no certainty that the front desk is going to read this any clearer than the rest of us, frankly).
