I would like to send an email directly to Bill Marriott. Would anyone happen to know his email address. Customer Service says they do not know it??

Thanks
That has got me no where, emailed and faxed them just thought Id try to get to someone who can make a decision. |
If your individual issue is important enough to require the attention of the CEO of the Fortune 203 company, it seems like that it ought to be important enough to write a letter.

I agree that writing a letter is fine, but it would be nice if Mr. Marriott did have an email to write to, like Mr. Kellner at Co air does. Even if Mr. Marriott doled out the emails to his assistants, like he does his letters, it would help. If he can blog, he can have an accessible email even if it isn't directly to him.

Why not...
Call CS and ask to speak to Bill's assistant. I one time got misdirected to her, and spoke to her for a few minutes; she is really nice. Perhaps she will provide you with a fax number or provide you with some additional direction.

Remember there is a big difference in age between Larry and Bill, Mr. Marriott prefers to use the personal touch with people who contact his office, his blogs are dictated and posted for him etc, his assistants answer his calls and take messages for him, while not everyone will agree it's the best method this method works for Mr. Marriott (yes his personal assistant does have email)
Socretes, a very good explanation; although it would be nice to even be able to access his assistant easily. I wrote to Mr. Marriott and had zero response back (yes, one of those actual letters sent via mail); however I have had some excellent contact with other people within the company. |

Agreed. While writing a letter to the CEO won't ACTUALLY be read by the CEO, it will be handled by their Corp Resolutions dept and most likely be taken very seriously. |
IMHO emails aren't takes as seriously as letters or faxes. When I had a problem with Marriott last year and couldn't get it solved I contacted the Mr. Marriott's office by fax. An assistant called me the following day and the whole thing was solved instantaneously.
