Internet Access at Courtyard, is it free?

I have not stayed at Courtyard for a long time. Do they give free internet access nowadays?

In the US they do - not 100% sure about international hotels. You can always find out your specific hotel by going to that hotel's website & it should say.

Courtyard in Beijing

I see. I don't see Courtyard Beijing has its own website, and did not see free internet on Marriott website. I guess I will call Marriott to find out.

In the US mostly. It's free in the rooms, but you may have to pay for wireless in the lobby.

I stay in CY's very, very often. At the ones I've frequented, both the LAN and wireless have been free. I've been known to hang out in the lobby when my room's being cleaned and get some work done via the wireless network.

Check their loyalty program. I signed on for Fairmont's program online the night before check-in and saved around $14/day on internet access which is free for members.

We never stay at a hotel without signing on, there's always a benefit, even if it's just late checkout privileges.

In any case, at least in North America the midrange properties always seem to have free access, it's the premium properties that charge for it.

YMMV

Absolutely free...I am always at Courtyards and most I stay in even have wireless.

Here you go: Marriott Beijing

And if you don't see "free" referenced for the internet access, usually that means they charge.
