Concord, NC Springhill Suites

I just had the pleasure of staying at the Springhill Suites in Concord, NC this week. It was absolutely delightful. The front desk staff was fantastic, helpful and fun; the housekeeping was SPARKLING CLEAN (rare for me to say that). I booked an extended suite which was even larger than a normal suite and very roomy. Beds were comfy, breakfast was good and well stocked. There was a college basketball team staying (very well behaved) and if they made noise, I wouldn't have known it - very quiet.

All in all, a practically perfect stay. If you're in Concord, I highly recommend this property.

Or in Charlotte, especially the University City area, for that matter -- it's only Exit 49 off of I-85, which means that you're less than 10 miles from downtown Charlotte and only a 16-mile straight shot from the airport. It's 4 minutes via 85 of 6 minutes via back roads to Harris Blvd., which gets you anywhere in University City you need to be.

Springhill Suites - Sterling, VA

I too, had an excellent stay at a brand new SS in Sterling, Va., just outside of IAD. They had officially opened in January, but had a Grand Opening party when I was there. Invites were for everyone. The food was good, the wine more than adequate. Best of all-the gym had brand new equipment. No broken treadmills, or elliptical trainers. It was fantastic. I highly recommend it.^ ^
