Niagra Falls Marriott or Renaissance
 

Hello,

I will be going there with my wife over the summer and would like to see which hotel people prefer. It is just us and I am a Gold Member.

Stayed at the Marriott approx a year ago on points. We had a great view of the Falls out our window. We got this after asking for the view. The first room we were given did not have the view. The Marriott was very nice.

Stay at the Marriott if you want a better view. The Ren is on the opposite side of the street a few blocks down stream from the falls and it also has buildings in front of you. The Marriott on the other hand has a front row seat.

I was there in November and it was a ghost town. Service for me was a little better than normal since it honestly felt like I had the entire staff to myself, but the Valets were fun, the front desk comped me with concierge access (after waiting to ask a different attendant) and the spa was fantastic.

I'm not 100% sure but I _thought_ the hotel is designed to have all falls facing views, the difference in your price ranges from what floor you're on and what kind of room you get, of which there are several options. If you get a room with a spa, be aware that the controls are on the otherside of the bathroom behind the door.
