Need to earn 2500 MR points quickly
 
I just found out that I am about 2500 MR points short of what I need for an upcoming stay in November. Does anyone have any current suggestions on how to earn those points quickly? I have tried a search of other posts with no success.

a stay costing $250 will put you over the top.
but there is some fraction of points that you can buy, that may be the easiest

This is incorrect. We only do point purchases in increments of 1,000 points only. So it would cost the OP $30 for 3,000 points.
