I didn't say the clerk said I was on a "cheap rate". I said the clerk said the rate was "too low". I didn't "fight" with the clerk for the exact reason stated in my post: I was too tired. You're right; you didn't unequivocally state that I was staying at a rate I wasn't entitled to. You merely suggested that as a possibility. Bad suggestion.
