Points for Events, weddings
 

On the website it say that a Marriott Hotel gives 10 points per dollar spent but do you know if weddings/ event charges would get less points? The event planner said she would give me three points per dollar spent. Does that sound right?

We had our reception at a marriott and I don't remember the exact points/$, but it was less than 10 points. It might have been five and the catering manager said she would throw in some extra marriott bonus points, but I never received them.
