This might have already been answered, but I can't get Search function to work, which seems to happen periodically.

With Mariiott, is there the equivalent to an elite status challenge which exists for the airlines.

I'm Hilton Gold and would like to induce Marriott to grant me equivalent status (which is the equivalent status?) based on a challenge to reach threshold in coming year.

If this exists, officially or unofficially, appreciate receiving the procedure for applying, including phone number, fax, email of the appropriate department. Any other tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
