100th night gift
 

I was recently given a 100th night stay "bonus" award at a JW property.

Choice of:

1) $100 Marriott Gift Card
2) 1 Free night at the property
3) 20,000 MR points

Wonder if anyone got the same award at other Marriott properties, also should I just go for the points?

Depending on the property's rate, the free night might be more valuable as the points (assuming you want to stay at this property again for leisure) since JW properties require more than 20000 points for a free night. The points gives you more flexibility and count towards your total lifetime points earned, one of the criteria for lifetime elite status.

100th night?
 

Was this your 100th night at this property, overall at Marriott, or your 100th night in a one year period?

In as much as we havent had 100 days in '06 as yet it cant be based on Stays this current yr. Id assume its 100 nights at that particular Hotel

Very nice! Is this standard to Marriott, or just this particular property? Would love to know what one it is.

I have stayed at over 100 nights at an individual Marriott, Rennaissance and Residence Inn, and have never gotten a gift for it, so I don't think it's s standard. Perhaps at the JW brand?

Ill 2nd this, at 1 REN Ill be there over 70 nights alone this year and well over 100 nights over any 1 yr time span, and I got Zippo. But thats exactly what I expected to get.
