Amazon gift cert. for MR use
 

Did anyone else receive a flyer for a $15 Amazon gift cert. if you make seven purchases on your MR Visa between Nov 15 and Dec 31st (I believe those were the dates)? I received the postcard, but my wife did not. Therefore, I wondered if this was a targeted promotion for only those that received the postcard, or if everyone was eligible.

I did not receive this promotion for my MR Visa,but did get it for my Priority Club one(also Bank One).

I'm not sure what criteria they used to target,as my MR is used often,my wife's MR and our PC one almost never.If they were trying to boost usage then I would have expected my wife's to be targetted.

Yes, I got the offer too for my MR Visa.

Since BankOne/Chase is notorious for not fulfilling promotions, I hope that members will post if/when they get the GC.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Prior to Christmas, we had only used my wife's card to activate the 15k bonus back in August. One would think that they would try to encourage us to use it a little more through such a promo. However, just in case it was open to anybody, we went ahead and used her card enough times to meet the required # of purchases.

I received the post card or my Marriott card. I hadn't used my card much at all lately. Pretty much just for very occasional Marriott stays. It got me to pull out the card for a month. Hope the GC shows up.

I recall reading in the fine print that it will take 6-8 weeks to receive the certificate from the time of fulfilling the offer's requirement.

Targeted only?

Yes, appears to be targetted. Mayeb newer card holders to encourage use? My card is only few months old with little usage.

I got a similar offer from Chase - $15 Amazon cert if I used my Chase Priority Club Visa 5 times before end December. So I did.

I seldom us the Priority Club card so it is probably targetted to infrequent users. The stakes aren't terribly high so if I get the prize great, if not, oh well.

Yesterday, I finally received the promotional code for the $15 Amazon.com gift certificate. I recall reading in another post that Chase's customer service told another person that they were overwhelmed with the number of customers who fulfilled the promotion.

Was this via email or the post?

The gift certificate code came in a letter from Chase.

I got mine too. In the mail from Chase. $15 off any Amazon order, and no minimum purchase.
