Christmas Present
Just got a Christmas Present from the Marriott NYC Financial District. A nice pen set with my initials. I havent stayed there in about 6 months. I did get 90 nights in the first half of the year. I always liked this hotel. They have great people working there. Robin in reservations, Owen in the lounge, Amy at the desk, Mario in the Club.....

I got a very nice duffel bag from the CY in Brookfield, WI (just west of Milwaukee). It was waiting for me in my room when I arrived last week. With over 130 nights there this year, I guess they felt I was worth it
It's my new carry-on . . . just the right size for my stuff.

Poor me...
My 135+ annual nights (should be 136 this year) end up split about evenly between 7-10 locations (ELP, LAS, DEN, COS, TUC, MSP, RNO, a few other Colorado locations). How about continuing the dble points (that'd be the best present of all)

Nothing this year, as my stays were also spread across a bunch of properties and I am current at home for two months (it's really weird. My roommate is getting sick of me being around during the week I think).
I did get a nice sleeveless fleece from the Marriott City Center in Denver one year. I thought it was a very "Colorado" gift, given the mountains being there and all the hikers and skiiers in the area.

I got a little card at the Renaissance Seattle yesterday with 1000 bonus points in it. ^ I've done about 20 nights in the past 3 months here.

Dear XXXX XXXXXX:
Dear XXXX XXXXXX:
As 2005 draws to a close, I'd like to say a heartfelt thank you for being our guest.
This has been an exciting year for Marriott. We are introducing a whole new look and feel across all of our brands. You can see the changes everywhere from our stylish room designs to luxurious bedding and inspired cuisine. Also, our new technologies, products and services will continue to allow us to create a more personalized experience for you.
It also has been a year in which we have seen great caring and compassion. Many of you, for example, generously redeemed Marriott Rewards points for Marriott gift cheques which went to support hurricane relief efforts through the American Red Cross.
I greatly appreciate your loyalty and support. I wish you all the best for a wonderful holiday season and a very happy new year.
See you on the road in 2006!
Warmest regards,
J.W. Marriott, Jr.
