Odd booking
 

I tried today to book by phone and web the GOV rate at a courtyard but was told that it was unavail. Tonight i tried again. Again it wouldn't work. Anyway, for the stay which is 19 June thru 2 July I was able to break the stays up as a 19 June thru 24 July stay, a 24 to 25 June stay and a 25 June to 2 July stay. All of these booked at the normal government rate. Does the computer system block out actual rooms while doing the reservation and thus I don't have the same room booked? Can I call marriott and have them combine all the reservations or should I just leave it as is?

Leave it as-is and tell them about it when you check in. I've had to do the exact same thing, and usually they will have recognized and fixed it even before I asked. Once or twice the front desk person was able to combine all the reservations. I've never had to move rooms when doing this.
