Any idea why no std awards at Lima Marriott
 

I have tried various dates over a 3 month period and can't find a single room at the standard award. I was actually hoping to stay here on a weekend and can't imagine that this hotel could be that consistenly full that it has no standard awards. Has anyone else had such an issue with this hotel?

My plans were to be here at the end of May. I will probably shift to the Doubletree if this doesn't open up. I encountered the same problem last year at the Marriott in Quito but it was only for a week that there was no availability and that was due to the Miss World/Miss Universe pagent that was taking place at that time. So no complaints there - but w/ the Lima hotel there doesn't seem to be any std availability from March through June.

I tried a year ahead to the date, February 18, and everyday for two weeks, and it's the same at both the Renaissance and the Marriot resorts in Brazil. This is odd.

I would recommend contacting central reservations to have them check for availability. It is possible regular redemption is not available for all of your nights. By calling reservations they will be able to check a series of combinations.
