What happened to the AMS Marriott ?
 

I used to stay there a couple of years ago.. but now it seems to have disappeared. Does anyone know what the new name is now?

I liked the hotel because of its location.

I walked past it a month ago.

I walked into it this week, just to check it out while I was in that part of town.

I spent 6 nights at the AMS Reniassance this week and really enjoyed my stay. Had to wait 4 hours for my requested room type to be ready (I was offered an immediately available alternative), but it was worth it to get the upgraded room for that length of stay. Quiet hotel, quiet neighborhood, close to the train station. The staff was excellent. Overall first class treatment.

Based on my stay, I could recommend the Ren without qualification.

How could you miss it?
 

It's on the Marriott website, easily identifiable from the Leidesplain, & has been listed in multiple threads on this forum (including a long one I wrote)? It's still there & I'd highly recommend it. Enjoy. Cheers. Sharon
