List of hotel reward categories
 

Does anyone know where I can get a complete list (in Excel format) of all Marriott/Renaissance hotel reward categories? I realize it changes pretty frequently, but would like to keep one on my computer (when off-line).

Not sure what you're looking for:

1.) If you want the nights/points matrix by category, I found it on the website and printed it out. IIRC, there was not a direct URL to copy, but rather it appeared as a pop up that I had to cut and paste. I can look for the thing if that's what you want.

2.) If you're looking for a list of hotels and their associated category level, I don't think it exists. Perhaps Chris can be more definitive.

It's #2. Would like to be able to have a general understanding of how many points I'd need for specific properties.

Well ... I usually know which city or state or country I'm looking for. I use the Marriott search function, and the list shows up. Not sure if the category shows up at that point or not, but you click on a given hotel and it presents a page of data about the hotel, including the category. Pretty straightforward.

I know I mentioned this on another thread yet I am not sure which one. A category search function will be implemented via the web on August 18th. So on Thursday (8/19) you will have the option to pull up a list of all the category "x" properties we currently have.

Is this avail in on "off-line" version (such as .xls or .pdf)? I understand that the hotel's reward category is subj to change, but am in need of something I can use "offline" -- on the road alot intern'tly and need something on my laptop that doesn't require an internet connection.

It would not be available off-line. Because of changes in hotel categories like you mentioned, there is not a .pdf or .xls available.

It only seems to work one state at a time, unless I'm doing something wrong.

Pretty poor functionality if that's the case.

Yeah I tried it out also... Pretty disappointing!
