No platinum guarantee for time share presentation
 

Did a search, couldn't find much. We have an upcoming stay for a time share presentation at the Camelback Inn in Scottsdale. The res agent told us that the platinum elite guarantee for non-smoking does not apply for this package. The king bed isn't much of an issue, but a smoking room would be tough. Does anyone have any experience in this area?

Call them back and ask them "where am I staying"?

Many times when a t.s. presentation/trip is booked, you may or maynot be staying at the timeshare you will be touring.

As an example, the Marriott T.S. in Newport, sometime back, put people up is an "approved" property, which may be a local Courtyard or whatever, and not at the timeshare itself, due to occupancy, un-built units, or???

It depends, so call Marriott booking is my two cents worth. and then call the property where you'll be at and get the non smoking room. :p

Thanks for the advice. I am staying at the Camelback but am actually touring at Desert Ridge (Alas, no rooms available there.). We'll call and verify.
