What day does Marriott post points?
 

I'm looking for a stay to post. Don't want to annoy myself by checking every hour if they post, say, every Tuesday or something.

Do they post at one time each week, or is it a continuous process?

Points post on a daily basis, but I wonder if the brand makes a difference. I stayed at FI on 4/16, and Ren on 4/17. The FI points posted the next Tuesday, but Ren points did not post until Thursday.

My experience is that it usually posts in 6-7 days.

I understand that Marriott is much larger than Hyatt, but I really like that my Hyatt points and stays post the next day after checkout. :D

Seems to depend on the property. I stay in several properties several times a year. Some of these consistently post within 5 to 7 days and some properties post within 10 -14 days, and then some don't post at all with out an email to [email protected]. :eek: As a matter of fact, I have a friend in SLC trying to get the points posted from a stay last November. This particular property seems to have a problem in this and other MR procedures in that they have had to pony up the $100.00 PLT guarantee twice.

There does not seem to be any other pattern other than the individual location in which I stayed.

I checked out of the JW CUN this past Fri(4/23) and the points were there this morning.
