Rollover nights from 2017

I qualified for Platinum first time in 2017 and as of December, 31 had 93 nights (including 17 from credit card).

Now on Jan 1, I have 0 nights, I was hoping to start the year with 18 rollover nights. What am I missing?

and the 93 was earned in 2017 without rollover from 2016

Same situation here. I'd give them a day or two for the system to catch up.
This is why it's always a good idea to take a screenshot of your account on December 31st.

Mine still list 2017, hasn't credited my last 2 stays - however it gave the the "nights" for one of them and one had a 3000 point/night promotion.

I would give it several days for everything to work itself out. If you still have problems after next weekend, then start to ring the bells.

If I recall from years past, the posting of rollover nights post sometime in January, but I've never seen it on the first (maybe because it's a holiday). The posting is a sweep of their database and they may be waiting for all 2017 stays to get posted so the number is accurate. Keep track of what you are due and following up with MR if something is wrong. Remember, just because you can't see it, the data is still there and MR can see or get someone to do the appropriate query.

As stated: Patience.

Also waiting for rollover nights to post here. Frustrating that they've been able to reset all the counters to zero so promptly but unable to add in rollover nights at the same time.

If you don't see the update by next weekend, JUST REMAIN PATIENT! You do not need to call Marriott, wasting your time and theirs. When the numbers are updated FT members will start posting about it, they always do, so you will know. There have been years where the updated didn't post until the end of the month. Unless you had something like 39 rollovers this year and are planning eleven stays in the next few weeks a short delay won't matter. And even if that's the case, you will just be told the update hasn't gone through yet.

ADDED: Just checked this thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marr...reads-109.html. In 2016 rollover posted on Jan 12, a Tuesday. In 2014, on the 19th, which was a Sunday. In 2013 rollover posted on Jan 14, a Monday.

I'm not sure about Marriott, but with SPG, the night of Dec 31st counts towards 2017. It would be impossible for the night to be posted quickly enough to calculate the roll over nights on Jan 1, especially if it's part of a longer stay that ends, say, Jan 4 or 5.

or comes from an international stay which seems to take a week or so longer then CONUS stays to post thus my original response patience which seems by some not to be comprehended to the point that the world is ending

My situation is a little different.... I had 19 nights last year, and I completed a gold challenge.

Do you mean: "I had 19 rollover nights from 2016"? Also, when you say that you completed a gold challenge, did you make Gold status in 2017?

Not likely, especially now that you've posted in a public forum about it.

Touché. It is unlikely I will hit either number so it really has no impact on me. But, I would hate to ruin it for someone else so I have edited my post.
