I just went into my account to check something and noticed I wasn't registered for the megabonus. I am fairly certain I had registered when this first came out. Just wanted to throw that out there in the case that this happened to anyone else. It is definitely possible I actually didn't register initially, but I am almost positive I did.

Can the first stay that triggers the second stay points be a stay which is an award stay? The second stay would be revenue.

I too have a 6 night stay that earns the same as 1 night - annoying.

Totally unable to register for this promo - keep getting directed to a page that says either promo is expired or I am not primary point earner.... called and wasted 15 minutes on phone b/c no one could help when rewards was closed. Tried 2 browsers - same error - guess I won't bother staying at Marriott

I am at a RI and staying 6 weeks, really stinks that i am staying at Marriott for the balance of this promotion and i will get absolutely not a single point from it

And if the loss of bonus points is so much what stops you from staying at a cheapo one nighter in advance to then qualify ?
