I am at the Shanghai Marriott City Center.
Lounge is open all weekend.
The lounge hours are: breakfast: 6-10:30 M-F, 6-11, S-S; afternoon tea: M-S, 2:30 - 5:30' Hors D'oeuvres, M-S, 5:30 - 7:30 pm, Cocktails & desserts, M-S, 5:30 - 9:30; refreshments, M-S, 6-12 midnight.

Canada/Toronto / Airport Marriott Update
Spent last night here. As of about a month ago, I was told, they now have an M Lounge on the ground floor. Accessible 24/7 and offers breakfast and evening service 7 days. Breakfast 0600-1100 M-F, 0600-1200 S-Su; Evening service 1700-2200, hors d'oeuvres 1730-1930 M-Su.
The buffet for breakfast is actually located just outside the entrance to the club (same one used for restaurant). You grab a plate there and take it into the club.

Similar design to the new-ish M Club at the Marriott in the Detroit suburbs of Pontiac/Auburn Hills/Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

Calgary Delta Downtown is now open on weekends (no more breakfast in the restaurant, sadly 
). Breakfast and evening hors d'ouevres are served in the lounge everyday. Calgary Marriott Downtown also have the same setup in the MClub Lounge.

When I was at the Marriott, they served cauliflower soup, assorted cheese and charcuterie, crackers and what looked like a ravioli. I don't drink but I did see one of the servers issued receipts so it's definitely not complimentary. I'm not sure about the Delta as I didn't partake in the evening snack.

Lounge is now open weekends, breakfast for Gold + is now in lounge. Limited version of restaurant choice. No change to evening offer. Soft and hot drinks, limited nibbles.

JW Marriott Mexico City (Polanco)
Stayed in this hotel with my family (5 children ages 5 to 16) November 2016. Lounge and service were excellent (brought us additional special dishes at breakfast each morning). Didn't bat an eye or request additional fees for any of the kids.

Breakfast for all of November (and probably December) is in the restaurant on the main floor. Breakfast is buffet or ala carte off menu. One computer terminal and printer in lounge; Apple but running Windows. Gold and platinum guests get 20% off steakhouse restaurant at dinner if you use the card that is on the nightstand of 5th floor rooms. Free wine (but not spirits) from 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. 7 days a week. Dinner are 3 one-bite snacks; no choice. If you're a vegetarian they will give you a small garden salad. Dessert is one slice of cheese, two crackers and a scoop of fruit chutney. Hotel did not enforce the guest or children policy.
