The Anaheim Marriott, while still open for breakfast on weekends, is no longer key accessible when the lounge is closed during Friday/Saturday afternoon and evening. In addition, we were told the Elite+1 policy is enforced at breakfast during high occupancy, but not otherwise.

Well, it wasn't a weekend, but this morning (Thursday) there was no food in the lounge at the Fulllerton Marriott, and a sign said to go downstairs to the restaurant. I went to the front desk and they gave a coupon that was good for the full buffet, plus juice and/or coffee from the waiter. (Post 1 says "full brekkie", and I don't know if they meant just full buffet or something else. But my voucher definitely spelled out buffet. And it looked like the same kind of voucher I would expect them to use on weekends, though I've never stayed there on a weekend.)

FWIW, the restaurant buffet seemed like a bigger version of the typical lounge buffet at this hotel, with just a few extra items, but mostly bigger quantities presented of each item. It makes me appreciate even more how good the breakfast at this particular hotel's lounge is, since it's masically a shrunk near-duplicate of the restaurant breakfast. (Not all Marriott lounges I've been to are that close to the quality of the paid breakfast.)

Update: The Pantry was closed Friday at 12:00. So no waters or snacks available after that. Breakfast option in the pantry are microwaved breakfast sandwiches and oatmeal-all to go- as there is no seating.

After we asked about breakfast benefit for the weekend, they gave us vouchers for a full cooked to order meal in their onsite restaurant. They did not offer this at check in. Tax and tip , coffee and juice included.
