Please Help contacting Marriott CEO
I had a hotel manager and his 2 underlings do something at what I'd consider to be a flagship property In a major city that is so astonishingly bad I believe the CEO would be overcome with labor pains if he was watching in real time. Unfortunately for Marriott this thing that happened was a proximate cause to an enormity of bad events and legal liability and millions of dollars in a suit. Fortunately for Marriott, I am a loyal customer and I'd rather use this as an opportunity to work out a deal for some free rooms and to get Marriott to adopt some ideas I have that I am certain will help the brand. Hoping someone from my favorite company or one of the more established forum folk can PM me an email address. I consider Marriott to be family and I don't believe in suing my family. Thank u good friends

And I don't want a generic email address. I am hoping for something the good CEO will actually read within a day of my sending it. Thanks again. I'm being vague on purpose
|
You are being vague because you are essentially asking to blackmail a company for something that Legal is likely already ready to handle, hence why you want to bypass the general hierarchy which will just defer you to Legal, and skip straight to the "big guy" in hopes of scaring him into giving you free things.
Otherwise, if you felt that Marriott was your family and you just wanted to pass along helpful advice, you'd happily send it through the normal channels without threats of legal action or otherwise, and if it were of upmost importance as you claim, it'd certainly reach the CEO... |

I think one of the underlying purposes of FT is to make other travelers aware of all things travel; good, bad, or somewhere in between. Also, it's nice that you won't sue family, but it's fine to blackmail family. I doubt you will get much help based on this post. |

Wait...did a Marriott install their peepholes backwards ... again?
|
Sure, we'll all just grab the personal email address for the CEO of a $20B+ global corporation that we have in our directory and share it with a brand-new, unknown stranger. Perhaps you'd like his cell number too?
Ooops, someone beat me to it above. |

If I had the email address, do you think I'd just give it to you? No, "I'd rather use this as an opportunity to work out a deal" for maybe some cash?

I'm not saying its not a legitimate complaint, just that an email to the big man (or woman) will not get the response you seem to assume it will. You are best off calling customer service and describing what you saw/experienced and following it up with a fact-based letter. Good luck. |

But, like others have said, if the complaint is worthy then compensation will be given through the normal channels. |
Mods notified of use of FT to attempt extortion in violation of rules.
