Arrivals from Terminal 1, please take the free airport shuttle “CDG VAL” to Terminal 2, please go to TGV train station
between Terminal 2 D and 2 F. Follow the signs to the TGV Train station and to the CDG VAL airport train shuttle. Opposite the
“Paul” bakery take away stand, take the elevator to the 5th floor where the shuttle will pick you up.

It's better than the shared hotel shuttle buses that leave from the top level of CDG T2. They're relatively infrequent and seem to be packed.
For me, the Sheraton right in the terminal (T2, almost on top of the railroad station) works well, although at times it can be expensive.
