How long does it take for BUYING Marriott points to post?
 
I'd like to buy some Marriott points for a travel + air package, but would like to wait as late as possible to buy the points in case I need to choose a different tier (I don't want to buy more than I need).

Does anyone know how long after buying Marriott points it takes to post to your Marriott account? If its instantaneous, that would be fantastic.

It usually shows up within a few minutes. However, the website says it can take 24-48 hours.
