LNF and Points question
I was on my expedia app this morning and noticed a room at the Fairfield Inn for tonight at $95 and it was marked "Mobile exclusive" - The best rate on the Marriott site was $119 and couldn't find anything cheaper.
I checked my laptop and the mobile exclusive rate doesn't even come up. Any chance an LNF would work for this or would they say that this rate is not available to the general public - It is available to anyone who has the app on a smartphone. I consider you all the experts and appreciate your thoughts. If I do book the room with the expedia app - Does this night not count toward elite or bonus programs since it is "Third Party". Are their even points or is there something funky about expedia? |

LNF will not work.
per the LNF terms and conditions Marriott will verify the Comparison Rate within 24 hours of receiving your claim and notify you of the results. Because the claim must be processed before check-in, you must submit your claim at least 24 hours prior to check-in. |
If you book on anywhere outside marriott.com, and you pay before you check-in, then you won't get any points/stay.
