Never seen or heard of this promotion before.

Just checked in to the CY-Fresno. Was presented with a basket of fortune cookies from which to choose. My fortune turned out to be an additional 500 MR points. I was told this was a perk for all elites and 500 was the maximum amount given.

+1 for originality!!

At the Santa Rosa Courtyard, I got to spin a wheel which had an array of rewards on it. Cute!!

I've had a few hotels do the "spin the wheel" offer at check-in before, but not a fortune cookie.

So how did the fortune cookie taste? ;)

We had a roll the dice recently and got 1,000 points. I think it was the CY near Disneyland.

At the Residence Inn in Burbank, CA I spun the wheel and got free parking.

Cookie actually was pretty good. Tasted fresher than most I've had.

I've seen the fortune cookie for MR goodies at a Residence Inn when the evening reception was Chinese food.
