Showed up on my account this morning.

Yes, that's Cat 1-4, not 1-5. Rather disappointing, but I haven't given them a lot of revenue recently (should have much more in 2014), so they may be targeting the Cat 5 offers based on revenue.

Still nothing yet but pretty disappointing if true. Previous promos had max of 3 cat 1-4, or max of 2 1-5

With the devaluation last year it's been hard to even find cat 5s to use them in outside of Asia

Husband's is the same one he always gets- 35K for 20 nights, another 15K for 25. Yawn.

I also have the 2 Cat. 4 certs offer, after having Cat. 5 certs offers the last few Megabonuses.

Looks like I'll be working on IHG's spring Big Win.

Is there anything official in how you are picked for the 2 Cat. offer vs point offers?

Ugh 1-4 also. Pretty useless.

I got the Cat 1-4 cert offer as well. This is after getting the cat 5 offer on the last two Megabonuses. It's a slap in the face considering Marriott's huge devaluation last year. I can't think of a single half-way decent category 4 Marriott that I would want to stay at in the US.

I was already planning on moving more of my stays to Hyatt. This just solidifies it. If only they had better coverage of the Midwest.

Got also up to 2 free nights, cat 1-4.
Disappointing...

Remember last time a bunch of people got 1-4, then they changed it to 1-5, saying it was a mistake?

2 x Cat 1-5 here. It's been the same for a year now.

I am using the certs already earned at the Renaissance Mai Khao, but now most properties I am interested in moved up to Cat 6. Actually, all of them did.

as I recall, read of a few were able to change 3 Cat 1-4s for 2 Cat 1-5s but do not recall anyone changing from 2 Cat 1-4s to 2 Cat 1-5s, nor of any "misstake" but perhaps it's brain freeze being caused by the temperatures here in BKK (feel to 17C this morning!!).....
