Who wouldn't? You get the same ratio of points to nights, with the benefit of still getting points if you only make 22 or 24 or 26. Why not give that to everyone at the higher tiers?

I just got off the phone with Marriott (trying to chase down some missing points after asking two front desk people and an assistant manager at the property three times over the last month--are less than 5000 points worth over an hour of my time?) and the agent told me that there are two more offers (#3 and #7 in their system, although they might be the same with the latter one being just for international people) that give two free nights and 1000 points for each booking made at marriott.com. They might require an email invitation. Has anyone seen these offers yet?

did you happen to find out what the current default bonus is (lately has been max 2 Cat 1-5 certs with 4-stays) ????

Did you log into your account and check on promotions? They often just auto enroll you without any e-mail notice. It has happened to me on the last three Mega's. If not just call MR.

No offer for me yet, but that the same story with the last two promotions. I had to call both times after waiting three weeks after the announcement. I guess long-term Plats matter least to them. They must figure we're lifers...
