Quick question - If I book a stay with a certificate from this promo but have to cancel it, do I get the certificate redeposited? Or is it gone? Thanks.

At the start of the promotion I was promised I'd be switched from a 1-4 to a 1-5 certificate, and it would be manually changed at the end of the promotion.

Can I trust them to do it automatically, or should I call? And would today be too annoyingly soon to call?

The person that said they would do it for me sent this, did you get an email?

My wife's was already adjusted, but mine has not. I wrote down the information after speaking to someone about it. I am in no rush to have them change mine as I would not mind my start date to be after Memorial Day or the July 4th holiday! Only after those dates will I remind them if I need to do so!

I just called and she did the adjustment on the spot and applied it to my upcoming reservation.

My adjustment (extra 10k for 25 nights for 50k instead of 20 nights for 40k promo) posted automatically, several days after the 25th night posted.

EDITED TO CLARIFY:

I had requested the change months ago, knowing I would hit 25 nights. They had put into my account record that the adjustment was to made after I completed 25 nights.

I emailed [email protected] and had a reply and an adjustment to cat 1-5 certs within an hour.

When I called about my previously-agreed and documented switch from points to certs, the rep at first attempted to give me Cat 1-4 certs. So be careful on this one. (I did get my Cat 1-5 certs, with no argument. Just amused that the first statement today was that they'd be 1-4).

I received two Cat 1-4 certs. One was manually switched to a Cat 1-5 while the other one was 'switched' to another Cat 1-4. Time to call to have them change that one to Cat 1-5.

I'm still waiting for nights 22-25 to post. I cut it close and the last four nights were Apr 27-May 1. As stated here earlier they were sure that the night of the 30th will count and I did call and verify that prior to my stay. Just wondering if anyone else was also in this situation and if points posted yet for you. My separate May 1-2 stay already posted to my account.
