The current megabonus ends 4/30, I am checking in on sun out on 5/1 which is a thursday. Do I get credit for all 4 nights to this promo? I am cutting it close this time and 4/30 will be my 25th night.

You will get all 4 nights credit.

Now that both HHonors and SPG have released their next promotions, and if memory serves me, they both commence on 5/1/14, it would be nice if Marriott were to release theirs shortly -- but I am not holding my breath on this.

Update: I called MR this morning to request an up leveling to my maximum on the current promo. I'm currently at 33 nights in the promo period. They upgraded my offer and immediately deposited the additional 15K point in my account. While that might be worth only half a night in a good property, it's 5% of the points needed for my travel pkg. Time to do a happy dance.

They are all targeted. I was able to get switched to the 55K promo but it may be pretty late to try now, I made my request in the beginning. They allowed me to be "tracked" to the alternate promo and that at the end of the promo I could call back and be granted the additional 5K. Recommendation is to do this via phone call and explain that many others have been allowed to do this. I really don't know why they have these two separate versions as they are very similar.

I called yesterday and was able to move from the 40K to 55K offer. Of course it helped that I'd already completed enough nights to max out the 55K.

Falling short of the 40k offer, I just called to switch to two Cat 1-5 certificates, given that a lot of travel was switched to May. The first agent talked B.S. like one had to switch in the first 30 days of the promotion. FT 101.

I called today to do the same - switch from the 50K offer to the 55K offer. But the agent gave me some BS that this offer did not exist this time around. I didnt waste any time and just hung up. Will call again in a bit.

Just realized I wasn't going to hit the 20 nights for my bonus.

Called and switched to the certs offer and was changed immediately, including already posting my certificates:

2 - cat 1-5 certs.

(I met the stay requirements some time ago).

I have been able to switch in the past, but was denied this time, too.

I called yesterday after reading these posts to switch from the 50k to the 55k offer.

The agent said he wasn't aware of a 55k bonus and if there was one, it was only by solicitation but that he'd look it up and told me if I met the nights, he'd give me the additional 5k points on the spot. First, he said he was just able to see 25 nights for the period -I have over 45. He then manually counted the nights in my account, said I was good and gave me the points. The points posted almost immediately.

So for this who haven't even able to make the switch, HUACA.

At the beginning of the promo when I was updating the historical thread and asked if anyone got higher than 50K and noone responded.

Today I messaged them via the website and asked them to drop the husband from 20/25 nights to the certs since he's at 19 with no other plans. They offered two Cat 1-4. Normally this would have sent me thru the roof but we are doing a Canadian roadtrip this summer and have several Cat 4 nights planned.

They would only change me to the Cat. 1-4 today.
