In that case, I've got the opposite question for you: Why did they give me the 20 nights for 40k rather than the 25 nights for 50k, if I did the latter in the current round (and am already done several weeks early, and shifting my stays to other chains as a result)? They should be able to see that I never stay at Marriott beyond whatever they give me for my Megabonus, so giving me a Megabonus that needs fewer nights means they'll get fewer nights out of me. :confused:

It doesn't matter. EVERYONE gets a megabonus. In 7 y re ars I have never seen a post from someone who called and they said Nope Not for you.

I called, they said they registered me for the 2 Cat 1-5 Cert promotion, logged on today to see 2 Cat 1-4 Certs. Will be calling again.

As Vicki stated, but yes, if you look to the left of my posts, you'll see I'm Plat. Both LT and current based on stays, this year and next.

The time period covered in MegaBonus that is ending is longer than the time period in the one about to start. If you think you can fulfill the requirement of the 50k offer, call Marriott. They will likely allow you to go for that one instead, as it gives Marriott more stays.

That is odd. WE are always offered something similar to the year before.I would call.

Tried to call a few times today. Got a "your wait time will exceed 10 minutes" message each time.

I am PLT. I got "Earn 35,000 bonus points after 20 paid nights plus an additional 15,000 after 25 paid nights, up to 50,000 points", no call needed.

I am Platinum also. Had to call and was offered the 35k after 20 plus 15k addtl after 25 nights.

The rep said there was something checked in my profile that was preventing it from showing up for me to enroll in.

Does OTA booking count towards a Marriott Megabonus Stay
 

If I book a room through an OTA like getaroom.com, will it count towards a Marriott stay towards achieving the Megabonus goal?

I'm not sure if it would or not, but with the LNF program there's no reason not to just book on Marriott.com and make a LNF claim for the lower price.

2 nights get one free - time to credit?
 

My apologies if I missed it in this thread, but I'm wondering how long it will take for my free night to credit? I'm going to the Orlando / Tampa area for a week in late March, and was wondering if I could stay 1 night at a Cat 4 hotel upon arrival, then a second night mid-week, get the free night credited instantly, and then stay a 3rd night at the hotel immediately after using the credit?
