No roll Away Beds allowed in a double room?
Searched - and came up empty.
When booking on line, I see the following description: Room Overview Marriott Quality Room Beds and Bedding Maximum Occupancy: 5 1 King or 2 Double Roll away beds permitted: 1 Cribs permitted: 1 Maximum cribs/rollaway beds permitted: 1 I book a room for a party of three in a double room expecting to use a roll away so that everyone gets a bed. When I check in, I am told that roll aways are not permitted in double rooms due to fire code restrictions. I pull up the web site and point out the room details description and am told that the description is in error. Fair enough, but it is not my error. I am further told there are no alternate options for my party to all have an individual bed other than booking another room at rack rate. What am I missing here? |
Property? Most European properties do not allow +2 unless in a suite.

I've seen a lot of properties that do not allow a rollaway bed in a double room. It's a pain, but it is what it is.
For a child or teen, we've used an aerobed - if driving that works, but flying it's a pain, since it's another piece of luggage. Good luck! |
Charleston, WV FS Marriott. It all worked out in the end but the initial position was that the web site was wrong and so were we. If this is a standard policy, then it should be listed as such.
