how long it takes to post the mr points
 

thanks to flyertalk, i recently got the marriot premium card from chase. the first closing date is around 6/2, I need to use points in the middle of the june, does any one know how long it takes for the marriot rewards be available? thank you for the help

are you referring to points that go along w the initial issuance of the card or points from using the card? if the latewr, mine generally post around 3 working days after my statement is complete........

if you made these reservations based upon future points, be advised that if you do not have the necessary points approx a week before the reservation is to commence that the MRs system will CXL the resee, but to avoid this call MRs, explain your situation and have them flag/note the resee............that way if the system CXLs it, at least MRs can reinstate it.........

If you are talking about the bonus points, they should post a few days after the billing cycle ends if you have met your spent requirement early. If you met you spent requirement only a few days before the end of your billing cycle, they may take another billing cycle to post.

You can call Chase and ask them when they will be posting. They should give you an approximate day.
