Mega Bonus Points

Just took a look at my Marriott Rewards account and was pleased to see that I have already received my 15K mega bonus promo points. Anyone else get their's?

So how did you do that? IIRC, the promo started on Feb 15. I got my stays in starting on Feb 16 (I got the 7/10K offer). Three nights that week, and four nights last week.

They have just posted credit for the week of Feb 16. How the he11 do you get your stuff posted so fast? Is it a function of when the individual property sends in their data?

I have been staying at one property for the past 10 weeks or so, 3-4 nights a week. My stay ends on Thursday and the points usually post on Tues or Wed of the following week. Don't know why but they do. It works for me.

I got mine. I stayed 2/15 - 2/26 at a TownPlace Suites...

With all of the posting problems I've had after Europe stays within the past year, I hope my MegaBonus posts without any hitches. Seems like I'm always faxing at least one hotel receipt and waiting weeks after to make sure the points post.

I have noticed that my bonus challenge is for 25k points and not 15k. I am not complaining and should be getting the bonus after 1 more night. A guy I travel with has the challenege for 15k as well. Can't figure out why mine is for 25k.

"Stay: 15 nights at any of more than 2,300 Marriott hotels worldwide between 2/15/04 and 5/15/04
Earn: 25,000 Marriott Rewards Points, good toward fabulous travel rewards"

I don't understand how this promotion works. On page 51 of the March Inside Flyer Magazine it says 7 nights gets "up to" 10,000 points. When I went to register at the Marriott website, it says I will get 20,000 points after 10 nights before May 15. I won't have 10 nights in that time span. Are different people getting different offers, some with points after 7 nights and some after 10? Very confusing to say the least.

Yes. The offers seem to be:

7 nights for 10K
7 nights for 15K
10 nights for 15K
10 nights for 20K
15 nights for 25K
15 nights for 35K (corrected from 15/30, a typo)

No apparent pattern on how an offer was chosen vs. historical patterns/status level

03/07/04 MEGA BONUS PROMO SPRING 20 15000

Only weird thing is that it posted in the "Total Points" column with nothing the "Base/Bonus Points" column. Whatever.

15k. Check. Next promo please?

Thanks for keeping this thread alive, I just realized it was NIGHTS and not stays. I may be able to knock this out after all.
