What does mean when ...
... you're trying to book a rewards stay and a rate comes up? I was trying to book some rewards days in Vail, same week I did this year, and instead a $300 rate comes up. Is this what the room would normally cost and it's a rewards reservation? I'm thinking no, because I've never seen a rewards room show up this way. Any help? |
I've seen this happen before; usually, there is a note at the top that states "REQUESTED RATE NOT AVAILABLE". Look for that; it sounds like there are no rewards available to me.

Could also be a leftover computer glitch that Marriott has been trying to work out for some time now.
I had just the opposite problem this weekend....was trying to book a paid stay and the award rooms kept showing up. Best way I found around this was to start over completely, either going in under the brand name (Courtyard, Renaissance, etc.) or by clicking on the actual hotel name on the hotel's main page (the name with the black line under it) and resubmitting all values. Don't give up! |
