Workaround discovered for one of the website glitches

Glitch: When you bring up your list of reservations, current day reservations show as "under way", thereby preventing you from cancelling the reservation online.

Workaround: Copy the reservation number from the list of reservations; then paste the reservation number on the left side of the "confirm or cancel page" (the side of the page where you look up individual reservations by the reservation number and your name rather than by your username and password.) Voila, your current day reservation appears as it did before the website was damaged by Marriott's IT folks, and you can cancel without having to call reservations.

I prefer my work around - just call the platinum line and chat. Maybe lots of phone calls will prompt them to fix the website.

I concede your point. By the way, I noticed today that the credit card glitch which prevented reservations from going through without manually entering expiration date, has apparently been fixed.

I too have been calling the elite line.
I start every conversation with, "I was trying to use the web site but...".
Maybe if they see a big enough spike in calls (and the cost associated with them) they will fix the site.
